Cross-functional meeting TOP 15

At SOVAM, we never work in silos

At SOVAM, industrial performance is based above all on people, collaboration and information sharing. It’s in this spirit that a meeting has become an essential part of our organization: the daily cross-functional meeting.

A key event at the heart of our daily industrial life

Every morning at 9am, teams gather for a cross-functional TOP 15 meeting to structure the day and align all departments on common priorities. This regular exchange of ideas ensures a shared vision and smooth coordination between the various departments.

These include industrial management, purchasing, procurement, planning, the design office, the workshop, quality and, depending on the subject, the sales and customer service departments.

The aim is simple: to enable everyone to have the same level of information, to understand the constraints and challenges of other professions, and to work with clear, shared priorities.

Two structuring objectives

1. Review current business

The meeting enables us to monitor the progress of projects, quickly identify areas of concern and anticipate the needs of our teams. This proactive approach helps to boost the organization’s responsiveness and secure deadlines, while facilitating collective decision-making.

2. A commitment to continuous improvement

Over and above operational monitoring, this exchange of ideas is fully in line with a Lean Management approach. Teams share their ideas, point out any problems and suggest areas for improvement in terms of processes, organization, working environment and infrastructure.

Each subject is discussed and challenged with a common objective: to do better, together, day after day.

A culture based on cooperation and collective intelligence

This daily meeting is much more than a simple progress report. It fosters mutual understanding, strengthens links between teams and contributes to a smoother, more efficient workflow.

At SOVAM, we are convinced that quality, on-time delivery and customer satisfaction require a collaborative organization based on transparency, cooperation andcollective intelligence.

It’s this way of working, on a daily basis, that drives our teams and our projects forward.
