Technical visit to SOVAM: strengthening our presence in the Middle East

SOVAM recently had the pleasure of welcoming its long-standing partner Saudi Diesel Equipment, accompanied by a potential customer from the airport sector, for a strategic visit to the production site in Parthenay, France.

A complete immersion in our industrial know-how

The visit began with a complete tour of our facilities, allowing our guests to discover all our manufacturing processes and SOVAM’s expertise in airport equipment.

One of the highlights of the day was a real-life demonstration of our latest innovation, the ALTA 100% electric maintenance platform. Designed to meet new environmental challenges, this solution combines performance, reliability and zero emissions.

Our teams also presented other flagship products from our range, such as baggage tractors and PS7.15 towable passenger staircases, adapted to ground operations in airport environments.

Technical exchanges focused on local needs

The meeting provided an opportunity for in-depth technical discussions on equipment customization,adaptation to local standards and the specific climatic conditions of the Middle East. It was an opportunity to reaffirm our ability to offer tailor-made solutions that meet the requirements of each market.

Our visitors were also informed of the immediate availability of several references: Maintenance platforms, baggage tractors and towable passenger staircases are currently in stock and ready for delivery to meet the needs of current projects.
